100BANCH Launches "100BANCH Ecosystem Partnership Program" for Corporations to Accelerate Co-creation with Young Entrepreneurs and Creators

General Incorporated Association Hyakubanchi (Location: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Rie Noritake), which operates "100BANCH," a future creation hub dedicated to the concept of "an experimental zone for enriching the world 100 years from now," will officially launch the corporate partnership program "100BANCH Ecosystem Partnership Program" on July 7, 2026 (Tue). This program is designed for corporations to engage in dialogue with young challengers and promote future projects.

Combining corporate resources with the creative disruption of young people to foster a "Commons of Co-creation" that nurtures the norms of the next 100 years.

Since its establishment in 2017, 100BANCH has gathered 415 projects and over 1700 young practitioners. With the launch of this program, multiple companies will support projects in their early stages (pre-seed/seed) which are often difficult to fund. This will form a "Commons of Co-creation" where companies and practitioners can engage openly, thereby establishing a system that promotes the social implementation of ideas by creating a space where diverse resources intersect.

Background of the Program's Launch: The Necessity of a "Commons of Co-creation" to Resolve the Dilemma of the Pre-seed Stage

While new approaches from younger generations, unconstrained by conventional thinking, are needed to address complex modern societal issues, there are structural challenges in the process of connecting early-stage projects to social implementation. Generally, corporate systems and CVCs (Corporate Venture Capital) often find it difficult to directly invest resources in projects at the idea stage that have not yet generated sales, due to risk management, the need for short-term synergy with existing businesses, and internal explanation requirements. As a result, many seeds for social implementation stall at the initial value validation phase.

To transform this area, which is limited in approach by single-company support or investment, into an open domain for nurturing future seeds for society as a whole, General Incorporated Association Hyakubanchi aims to build a commons where companies, local governments, and creators interact daily through "sponsorship, donations, and resource provision." This program is not merely a mechanism for companies to unilaterally support young people; it aims to jointly shape and implement the standards of a new era by openly sharing corporate resources such as technology and facilities within the commons, and equally combining them with the cutting-edge perspectives and passion of young individuals.

Furthermore, to expand this commons of co-creation into a more multi-layered ecosystem, we will simultaneously begin accepting applications for the "Individual Supporter System (Ecosystem Supporters)," which allows individuals to support and participate in 100BANCH's challenges. We aim to create a shared space for the new era where people from diverse backgrounds can actively participate, transcending the boundaries between organizations and individuals.

The Cycle of Co-creation in the "100BANCH Ecosystem Partnership Program"

Partner companies will design optimal collaboration methods tailored to their respective needs, visions, and objectives through dialogue, rather than being limited to a uniform package offering. Through the 100BANCH commons, the following cycle of mutual learning and value creation will be generated:

Knowing (Discovering Future Insights): Opportunities for input to engage with the daily stream of projects, insights from experts and mentors, and diverse future signs hidden within 100BANCH.

Meeting (Deepening Relationships & Inspiring Organizations): Creation of touchpoints to update organizational mindsets by sharing multifaceted perspectives and practical approaches not found within one's own organization through monthly meetups, networking events, and daily dialogue.

Co-creating (Demonstration Experiments & Social Implementation): Joint communication utilizing the 3F event space "LOFT," direct collaboration with projects through "resource provision" such as equipment, technology, and space, and promotion of public-private partnership projects centered on solving regional and societal issues.

"Creating the norms of the next 100 years – this is what we at 100BANCH are challenging ourselves to do. While we have become materially affluent and everything has become more convenient, various distortions and divisions have also become prominent. We are often overwhelmed by the complexity of countless issues such as climate change, population decline, widening inequality, and isolation. Nevertheless, the young people active at 100BANCH have depicted the future they want to create by honestly examining current norms, confronting the subtle discomforts and questions hidden in daily life, and facing their own impulses and passions. Instead of being intimidated by the magnitude of the challenges, they nurture small signs, cultivate those sprouts, and broaden their activities by drawing on all kinds of connections. Each of these experiments is a sure step towards the future. Towards our 10th anniversary in July 2027, we aim to expand this creative ecosystem and develop it further with new partners. I would be delighted if we could break through existing constraints and co-create a new era within 100BANCH's culture that is not bound by convention."
