Sid Meier's Civilization® VII 'Trials of the Ages' Update Released

Overview 2K and Firaxis Games have announced the release of the 'Trials of the Ages' update for Sid Meier's Civilization VII. This update is the largest yet, completely transforming the game experience. Firaxis Games has incorporated community feedback gathered through over a year of playtesting since launch, introducing three major new features.

Key New Features - **Trials of the Ages**: Players can choose to switch to a new civilization or continue with their current one during era transitions. Those playing civilizations not in a 'Golden Age' can use 'Syncretism' to adopt unique units/infrastructure from other civilizations or use 'Acceptance' to further strengthen their own. - **New Victory System**: Victory conditions have been completely revamped. The design provides more paths, allowing players to build greater nations through their choices. - **Success**: Replacing the Legacy Pass, this new system offers challenges linked to six attributes (Military, Culture, Science, Economy, Diplomacy, and Expansionism), ensuring fresh choices in every game.
