From sunset to starlight, experience the gradient of Oarai. Oarai Town will debut the sunset event 'Oarai Namioto Festival 2026' on July 18 (Saturday) and 19 (Sunday), 2026, at a special venue within Oarai Sun Beach Bathing Area (around the Beach Center).

Centered on the theme 'Where sound, light, and music blend into a place loved through the night,' this event offers free access to music, gourmet food, and fireworks, all enjoyed against the backdrop of the seaside sunset.

Numerous food trucks and market stalls will be set up at the venue.

With the event approaching, we are now announcing the full lineup of performing artists and the detailed schedule for both days.

【DAY1】Saturday, July 18

Top artists from Japan's hip-hop and reggae scenes unite!

On the first day, performances by DABO, Chozen Lee, DJ PMX, and DJ TY-KOH will heat up the venue.

Set against the twilight of Oarai Sun Beach, their beats will blend with the rhythm of the waves, creating an electrifying atmosphere.

Enjoy this stellar lineup completely free of charge.

【DAY2】Sunday, July 19

A vibrant variety stage blending music, dance, and comedy!

On the second day, enjoy a diverse program for all generations, featuring local dance studio 'TRY OF ACTIVE SCHOOL,'

comedy acts by Joe (Double Name), Moritaku!, and Ohtani Nishirohei,

and more.

Grand Finale Fireworks

The closing highlight on the final day: a 100-shot fireworks display starting at 20:50 on Sunday, July 19.

Created by Nomura Fireworks Co., Ltd. (President: Yoichi Nomura), a legendary pyrotechnic company founded in 1875 (Meiji 8) and holder of the Prime Minister's Award a record 23 times at national fireworks competitions, renowned for having the finest technical skill in Japan.

Tuk-Tuk Beach Tour

Drive through Oarai Sun Beach in a tuk-tuk for about 5 minutes—a place normally off-limits.

This special experience, 'Nottoku?' (Ride the Tuk?), will be available only for these two days.

Operating hours: 16:00–20:40

Fee: 800 JPY per person (up to 6 passengers)

Registration only at the venue on the day. The last departure is at 20:30, or earlier if all slots are filled.

Children cannot ride alone (parental accompaniment required).

Infants and toddlers who cannot wear seat belts may be denied boarding.

You may share the ride with other guests.
