On May 29, 2026, A-GOAL (Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Takumi Kishi) announced its collaboration with student NGO Waka Waka Kenya (Representative: Kazuo Nishimatsu), Saraya Co., Ltd., and local NPO Lornajosh community based organization for the '2nd SAFE FEET PROJECT' treatment campaign (April 20-29). During this campaign, 254 residents of Esumba village, Kenya, suffering from jigger infestation were provided with treatment, soap, shoes, and meals. Educational activities, including storytelling and illustration sessions, were conducted, and the project was promoted through three local radio stations and the national broadcaster 'Citizen TV' to raise awareness across Kenya. In the illustration sessions, many children expressed their dream of playing soccer once cured, leading to the planning of the 'SAFE FEET CUP' soccer event on May 31. The campaign utilized Saraya's 'Jigger Lotion,' and staff provided hands-on training on proper usage and handwashing. The upcoming SAFE FEET CUP aims to bridge the psychological divide caused by the disease by having former patients and non-patients play together on the same pitch.
