ABEJA acquires regional portal business, completes transfer of operations

ABEJA Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Yosuke Okada; hereinafter "ABEJA"), which "implements a prosperous world" through the collaboration of people and AI, announces that it has acquired the assets of a regional portal business based on a business transfer agreement on January 1, 2026, and will be responsible for the operations and related tasks of the said business starting today.

Since April 2025, ABEJA has been proceeding with the transfer of operations related to the regional portal business, including the development, modification, operation, and maintenance of regional portal applications and systems associated with it. Following the completion of this series of transfers, ABEJA will now collaborate with local governments currently utilizing regional portal applications to support their operation.
