The internet television station 'ABEMA' aired the first episode of its original variety show, 'Assets Sold Off', on May 28, 2026.
'Assets Sold Off' is a variety program focused on helping celebrities make a fresh start by selling their assets and pursuing new dreams. MCs Ruriko Kojima and Takashi Yoshimura continue to host.
In the first episode, Eimi Fukada, an influencer with over 14 million followers, appeared as the guest. She surprised studio guests by revealing her modest, 1-bedroom apartment in Tokyo.
Fukada candidly discussed her difficult past: - She suffered from bullying from the second grade of elementary school through the second year of junior high. - Remarks from classmates about her appearance in high school led to severe complexes. - At 18, she entered the adult industry solely to earn money for plastic surgery.
She also shared realities of the adult industry: - Despite major hits, her pay was capped at 400,000 yen per film with no performance-based bonuses. - At the peak of her earning period, around age 20, she had saved approximately 15 million yen. - She faced a severe crisis when she was hit with 80 million yen in additional taxes by the Tokyo Regional Taxation Bureau.
Currently, inspired by teachings from a temple in Kyoto, she has learned the joy of 'giving' and consistently supports orphanages by sending them sweets monthly.
