ABEMA, the new future of television, will begin broadcasting all 24 theatrical 'Pokémon' films consecutively every weekend for four weeks starting Saturday, June 20, 2026.

The 'Pokémon' anime series is a long-running hit franchise set in a world inhabited by mysterious creatures known as Pokémon. The TV anime premiered in April 1997, following the adventures of young trainer Ash Ketchum and his partner Pikachu as they strive to become Pokémon Masters. This journey spanned approximately 26 years, concluding in March 2023. Since April 2023, a new series featuring protagonists Liko and Roy has been airing.

The theatrical film series, beginning with 'Pokémon: The First Movie – Mewtwo Strikes Back' in 1998, has consistently drawn fans across generations. As part of a special programming event on ABEMA’s Pokémon anime channel, all 24 main theatrical films—from the 1998 debut to 2020’s 'Pokémon the Movie: Coco'—will be broadcast for free over four consecutive weekends starting June 20, 2026. Additionally, each film will be available for free streaming for one week after its initial broadcast.
