‘RAPSTAR 2025’ Finalist Masato Hayashi Takes Over Shibuya at Release Party, Performs Pre-Release Track ‘Boso Tokyo’ to Roaring Crowd of 200 Fans

Masato Hayashi, who took second place in the audition project program ‘RAPSTAR 2025’ for discovering the next generation of rappers, exclusively streamed on the new future TV ‘ABEMA (Abema)’, held a limited 200-person release party on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Shibuya NEVERLAND to commemorate the release of his pre-release single ‘Boso Tokyo’.

The event was held to celebrate the pre-release digital distribution of ‘Boso Tokyo’, the lead track from his new album scheduled for release at the end of August 2026, on July 1. On the day of the event, a promotional campaign involving the entire Shibuya area was carried out, including broadcasting the music video for ‘Boso Tokyo’ on major street vision screens in Shibuya, and Masato Hayashi himself making surprise appearances in the streets of Shibuya to distribute limited ‘Boso Tokyo’ T-shirts.

The live performance kicked off with ‘HIROYUKI’, immediately filling the venue with loud cheers. He then consecutively performed popular songs such as ‘Vibes’, ‘Love my self’, ‘Ain’t no love’, ‘Young boy’, and ‘Jimoto Doko’. During ‘Young boy’, a massive sing-along echoed through the venue, creating a passionate stage where Masato Hayashi and his fans became one.

The heat of the live performance reached its peak with the pre-release single ‘Boso Tokyo’. The song’s message of ‘liberation’ and the overwhelming performance captivated the audience.

After the main set, ‘Loewe’ was performed as an encore. In response to the ceaseless cheers, ‘HIROYUKI’ was performed again as a special encore, and the show concluded with a performance of ‘Boso Tokyo’. The venue was filled with excitement until the very end, and the release party concluded with great success.

Additionally, a participatory project embodying the theme of ‘liberation’ from ‘Boso Tokyo’ was held at the event venue. Attendees wrote their unspoken feelings, persistent dreams, and personal struggles on the ‘Boso Tokyo’ flag, expressing their individual sentiments. The completed flag will be displayed for approximately one month only at Shibuya NEVERLAND.

Masato Hayashi is also scheduled to perform on the PAVILION stage at the ‘SUMMER SONIC 2026’ Osaka performance on Friday, August 14, 2026. Furthermore, he is planning to hold his largest solo live performance to date, ‘Masato Hayashi ONE MAN LIVE in Shinjuku ‘Boso Tokyo’’, at Zepp Shinjuku (TOKYO) on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 (public holiday).
