Goldwin Inc. will host a solo exhibition by artist GOMA, titled 'World of Light — Changing World, Unchanging Light,' from Friday, July 3, to Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at its event space on the first floor of its Tokyo Headquarters in Kita-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
This exhibition is an immersive experience 구성ed of pointillism paintings, textiles, didgeridoo acoustics, and video works that sharpen the senses in a special theater. Under its purpose of 'guiding people toward challenges and expanding the potential of humanity and nature,' Goldwin is committed to creating value that impacts not only physical capabilities but also sensibilities and inner potential. Through this exhibition, the company aims to provide an opportunity to reconsider hope, regeneration, and the connection between humans and nature in an era of constant change.
Artist GOMA, widely acclaimed as a performer of the didgeridoo—a traditional instrument of Indigenous Australians—experienced a hiatus in his career following a traffic accident in 2009 that caused higher brain dysfunction. While dealing with memory confusion and changes in consciousness, GOMA repeatedly witnessed a 'World of Light,' which birthed his current series of pointillism paintings.
Exhibition highlights include:
1. Pointillism Exhibition: Experiencing GOMA's Signature 'World of Light' The exhibition showcases intricate pointillism works created based on the 'memory of light' he encountered after the accident.
2. Textiles and Spatial Design In addition to paintings, the exhibition features colorful textile works. The space is enveloped in a fragrance co-developed with the fragrance brand 'AHARE,' working multilayered on the senses.
3. Immersive Experience with Sound and Video The exhibition integrates didgeridoo acoustics—GOMA's origin—and a special theater, creating a space for total physical immersion. In addition, video works allow visitors to face their inner selves quietly.
Events during the exhibition include a talk session with film director Momoko Ando on July 18, and gallery tours led by GOMA himself on July 10, 23, and 28.
