Acer Japan has announced the launch of four new gaming laptops under its Predator brand—two models of the 'Predator Helios 18 AI' and two of the 'Predator Helios Neo 16S AI'—available starting June 11, 2026, on Amazon and the official Acer Online Store.

The new models feature the latest Intel Core Ultra processors paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series Laptop GPUs. The 'Predator Helios 18 AI' boasts an 18-inch display and offers configurations with either the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 or 5080 Laptop GPU. Meanwhile, the 'Predator Helios Neo 16S AI' features a 16-inch WQXGA OLED display and slim 18.9mm chassis, powered by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 or 5060 Laptop GPU. All models include a 3-month PC Game Pass.

The 'Predator Helios 18 AI' is equipped with a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 290HX Plus, reaching speeds up to 5.5GHz, and 64GB of DDR5 memory. Leveraging the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, it is designed to handle demanding tasks including gaming, video editing, and generative AI workloads. Display options for the 18-inch models include a dual-mode Mini LED screen (switchable between WQUXGA/120Hz and WUXGA/240Hz) and a WQXGA (2560×1600) display at 250Hz.

Thermal management is handled by dual 6th Gen AeroBlade 3D fans, utilizing 0.05mm thin metal blades inspired by owl feathers. The keyboard incorporates the patented MagKey 4.0 magnetic switches, providing a rapid 0.3mm keystroke response. For connectivity, the laptops support Killer Wi-Fi 7, 5GBASE-T Ethernet, and Thunderbolt 5, ensuring robust expandability.
