MyComfort, a brand known for its self-care and relaxation products with over 1.2 million units sold (operated by EICRIT, based in Shinjuku, Tokyo), conducted a survey on 'Time-Performance (Taipa) and Self-Care' among 76 men and women nationwide.

The survey revealed that 90.8% of respondents suffer from stiff shoulders, along with widespread issues like neck fatigue, eye strain, and straight neck. While the ideal time for self-care is '15–30 minutes,' the reality is that most people can only spare '5–10 minutes,' highlighting a gap between intention and available time.

Furthermore, 71.1% of respondents use their smartphones while relaxing or performing routine tasks, indicating the widespread nature of 'while-doing time.'

Based on these findings, MyComfort proposes self-care habits that can be integrated into daily routines—such as while using a smartphone, watching videos, or before sleep—requiring as little as 5 minutes a day.
