Organized by the Regional Future Creation Center and planned by Actindi Inc., 'Kodomo Work in Kobe 2026' has announced details for its 26 scheduled programs ahead of the event period from July 18 (Sat) to August 7 (Fri). Marking its 5th anniversary, this year introduces 8 new programs including aquarium keeper and submarine cable construction, alongside popular annual offerings. Children will learn about 'marine jobs' that support our daily lives—such as shipbuilding, shipping, infrastructure, and fisheries—by meeting professionals in the field, expanding their future career options. Furthermore, as part of career education, middle school students are now included, aiming to share the appeal of marine work with a wider generation of children. Additionally, the newly established 'Kodomo Work's AWARD' aims to deepen children's discoveries and learning by evaluating project proposals and summer research projects created through their experiences, with awards and commemorative gifts for outstanding works. Registration begins today, May 29 (Fri), via the official website. Please check the website for details on each program.
