Aomori's Deliciousness Gathers in Tokyo's Hibiya Park! "Nme Aomori Fes" to be Held for the First Time

The "Nme Aomori Fes" (Organizer: Nme Aomori Fes Executive Committee), where you can taste delicious Aomori gourmet using the abundant seafood and mountain produce blessed by Aomori Prefecture's rich nature, will be held for the first time over three days from September 18 (Fri) to 20 (Sun), 2026, at Hibiya Park in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.

Aomori Prefecture is a treasure trove of "nme" (delicious) ingredients. Surrounded by the sea on three sides, it boasts abundant marine products such as Ooma tuna and Mutsu Bay scallops. Fruits like apples and cherries, nurtured by the climate with its temperature differences, are sweet and delicious. It also has many brand-name rice, wagyu beef, horse meat, and local chicken brands, with its agricultural output ranking first in Tohoku and fifth nationwide (according to the 2024 Agricultural Income Statistics).

It is packed with local dishes such as scallop "Kayaki Miso," seafood "Aomori Nokke Don," and the seafood soup "Ichigo Ni" made with sea urchin and abalone, as well as local gourmet like "Towada Bara Yaki" and "Miso Curry Milk Ramen."

Held concurrently with the popular food festival "Niku Matsuri 2026 in Hibiya Park" (Organizer: Niku Matsuri Executive Committee). A colorful array of delicious meat dishes, including grilled, fried, and rice dishes, with a "special touch" added to the ingredients, will be gathered. The event will also feature live stages with live performances of the official song and DJ sets! The dance contest, which was a great success last year, will also be held!
