[Aeon Retail] Two New Supermarkets to Open Sequentially in Tokyo

Aeon Retail will open 'Aeon Style Musashimurayama Minami' (Musashimurayama City) on Friday, June 12, and 'Aeon Style Nishidai' (Itabashi Ward, Tokyo) on Friday, June 26. 'Aeon Style Musashimurayama Minami' originally opened as 'Daiei Musashimurayama' in 2000 and has served the community for approximately 25 years. It is located about a 20-minute walk from Seibu-Tachikawa Station on the Seibu Haijima Line. The area within a 3km radius has a population of about 85,000, consisting largely of families in their 40s and single residents. Meanwhile, 'Aeon Style Nishidai' opened as 'Daiei Nishidai' in 1978 and has been a local staple for about 47 years. Located just a 2-minute walk from Nishidai Station on the Toei Mita Line, it serves an area with many families in their 30s and single residents in their 20s due to its convenient access to the city center. The stores have been rebuilt to provide new value, offering daily necessities with a focus on food. We will strengthen our fresh food and deli sections to meet needs for freshness and convenience. Additionally, we will continue to offer services like same-day delivery to enhance shopping convenience and better meet the diverse needs of the community.
