AEON announced it will hold the 'Vietnam Fair' for three days from Friday, June 12, to Sunday, June 14, at approximately 390 stores, including 'AEON' and 'AEON Style' locations. Supported by the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Japan, the fair will focus on 'heat-alleviation gourmet,' offering a variety of sweets, prepared foods, recipe suggestions, and imported beer.

As part of its 'COOL de ACTION' initiative to make summer more enjoyable, AEON is promoting themed products and activities across its group stores nationwide to combat the expected intense summer heat.

The fair is based on the concept of 'beating the hot summer with heat-alleviation gourmet.' By leveraging AEON's operational expertise and network in Vietnam, the event will provide ideas for enjoying the summer by sharing gourmet food recommendations and menu ideas from local staff.

### Key Highlights of the AEON Vietnam Fair

**Fresh, Fragrant Lychees in Season** Since the lifting of the ban on fresh fruit imports from Vietnam in 2019, AEON has been a leader in offering these products in Japan. Available only during the short season of May to July, these lychees feature a rich tropical aroma that releases upon peeling, and a firm, succulent texture from the non-frozen fruit.

**Authentic Vietnamese Sweets and Delicacies** Sales will feature local favorites reflecting Vietnam's diverse food culture, including 'Che' (a coconut-flavored dessert) and Hoi An-style fried wontons.

**Menu Suggestions from Local Staff** For the first time, AEON is presenting menu recommendations from its local staff in Vietnam, including 'Banh Khot' (savory rice cakes). The event also features ethnic dishes perfect for humid weather, such as Banh Mi sandwiches and fresh spring rolls.

**Imported Saigon Lager and Local Beer Culture** AEON will directly import 'Saigon Lager,' a beer known for its clean and light taste. The fair will suggest enjoying it the local Vietnamese way—poured over ice—along with ethnic food pairings to enhance the hot-weather beer experience.
