In recent years, demand for sweets that provide a sense of coolness has been increasing due to extreme heat and prolonged hot weather. In response, "Ohitsu Gohan Shirokuji Chuyu" will expand its limited-time shaved ice menu starting July 1 to make this summer more delicious and enjoyable. In addition to the currently available "Matcha Ice," "Coffee Ice," and "Strawberry Ice," three new products will be added: "Hojicha Ice," "Milk Tea Ice," and "Annin Tofu Shaved Ice." Among these, "Milk Tea Ice" is a product being offered for the first time by "Ohitsu Gohan Shirokuji Chuyu," featuring a rich aroma of black tea and the creaminess of milk, creating a taste like a drinkable dessert. "Hojicha Ice" uses Gion Tsujiri's hojicha, offering a roasted, rich aroma and a gentle sweetness. "Annin Tofu Shaved Ice" is topped with jiggly annin tofu, creating a novel shaved ice experience. With these additions, "Ohitsu Gohan Shirokuji Chuyu" will offer a total of 6 types of shaved ice, providing a lineup that customers can choose from according to their preferences.
