Our foundation is launching fundraising for the "2026 Aeon UNICEF Safe Water Campaign" to provide safe water to children in countries such as Cambodia.

In some regions of Cambodia and other countries, children are unable to attend school because they spend their time fetching water from distant locations. Furthermore, because it is difficult to secure sanitary water, people are forced to use water from unhygienic ponds or groundwater that may contain substances harmful to their health.

Our foundation has been conducting this campaign continuously since 2010, based on the belief that safe water is the foundation for protecting children's lives and supporting their healthy growth. Donations collected from across the country are used for the construction and maintenance of water purification facilities, as well as the installation of piping and water supply systems for households in depopulated areas. To date, these efforts have enabled more than 6.9 million people in Cambodia, Myanmar, and Laos to access safe water.

The foundation will match the donations received from everyone and donate the total amount through the Japan Committee for UNICEF. We ask for your cooperation in installing water supply facilities so that children can be freed from the burden of fetching water and gain access to safe water.

Moving forward, our foundation will continue to support children in both education and health to contribute to the sound development of the youth who will lead the next generation.
