Aflack Life Insurance Co., Ltd. (President and Representative Director: Masatoshi Furuide) announced today that it has entered into a comprehensive partnership agreement with Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture (Mayor: Ryugo Kuwana), aimed at promoting cancer awareness and increasing cancer screening rates.

This agreement aims to foster collaboration between the two parties to disseminate correct knowledge about cancer and encourage cancer screenings, thereby extending the healthy life expectancy of Kochi citizens and contributing to a society where all generations can live healthily in their own way.

Founded in 1974 as the first insurance company in Japan to provide cancer insurance, driven by the desire to "relieve those suffering from cancer from economic hardship," Aflack has been a "pioneer in cancer insurance" and has supported many people battling cancer for longer than any other insurer.

Aflack will continue to address social issues by leveraging its unique resources and expertise, creating new value that can be shared with society, and responding to the trust and expectations of its stakeholders.
