AICX Association to Speak on "The Forefront of AI Agent Utilization in Manufacturing" at Nagoya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Metal Division Seminar

The AICX Association (Tokyo, Representative Directors: Shin Oguri / Kensuke Ozawa, hereinafter referred to as AICX Association) will be a guest speaker at a seminar for members of the Metal Division of the Nagoya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, hosted on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

Under the theme "The Forefront of AI Agent Utilization in Manufacturing," this seminar will explain practical points for expanding AI utilization to the shop floor, based on the achievements and knowledge of the AICX Association and its speakers in supporting the manufacturing industry. Specifically, it will address the "tool," "data," and "workflow" barriers that many companies face, actual utilization cases born from the manufacturing floor, and how to handle "tacit knowledge," which is key to AI agent implementation.

The speakers will be Yota Kamikawa, an Expert Director of the AICX Association, and Hirofumi Saito, a Committee Member of the Industrial Manufacturing AI Co-creation Committee.

Background of the Presentation

In the manufacturing industry, interest in the utilization of generative AI and AI agents is growing against the backdrop of labor shortages, skill transfer, quality control, and equipment maintenance challenges.

On the other hand, when expanding AI utilization from back-office domains to the manufacturing floor, companies often encounter implementation hurdles such as tool selection, data preparation, integration with existing workflows, and handling the tacit knowledge accumulated on-site.

This seminar will share practical knowledge on AI agent utilization in manufacturing, based on the support achievements of the AICX Association and speakers, as well as utilization cases from the field. It will also introduce the initiatives of the "Industrial Manufacturing AI Co-creation Committee" established by the AICX Association.
