AIDE Inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo) has developed "ZERO STAGE", a mobility pop-up stage for DJ/live events modified from a 12-foot container. Combining portability with high performance capabilities, it integrates music, visuals, and spatial experiences. It transforms any urban location into an impromptu dance floor, creating new cultural touchpoints. This stage will be unveiled for the first time at the TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY grand opening event "TAKANAWA GATEWAY SPECIAL LIVE".

A Portable Stage Expanding the Music Experience in the City "ZERO STAGE"

This project is a container-type portable DJ/live stage developed under the concept of "expanding the music experience in the city". Based on a 12-foot container, its structure features openable side and end panels, realizing a compact yet open stage space. This stage has been named "ZERO STAGE". It is a portable stage device that does not rely on a specific location but transforms any urban space into a "beginning (ZERO)". Inside, centered around the DJ booth, it integrates 7 LED screens, stage lighting, and a smoke machine. Furthermore, it is equipped with a high-spec audio system manufactured by L-Acoustics, providing an immersive experience where clear, profound sound merges with visual effects. Professional-grade equipment such as the PIONEER CDJ-3000, Technics SL-1200MK7, and PIONEER DJM V-10 are adopted for the DJ gear. It is possible to bring a playing environment equivalent to that of a club or festival to any place in the city. This stage can be moved by trailer, optimizing operations including setup and teardown. It can be flexibly deployed depending on the purpose, such as for a wide variety of festivals, corporate events, exhibitions, and pop-up events for brand or music promotions. Additionally, it presents a new format for music experiences that expands the club experience, traditionally limited to late-night hours, into urban spaces from noon to evening. In an open public space, it creates an environment where people can accidentally encounter and experience music. This is not merely a stage; it is a device to accelerate the distribution of culture in the city. By transforming the city itself into a stage without relying on a fixed space, it creates accidental encounters and new experiential value.
