It is a certification system targeting companies and business offices in Kyushu and Yamaguchi prefectures, where companies pledge that male employees will take childcare leave for two weeks or more and aim for a 100% acquisition rate.

Purpose of the Declaration This system aims to create a workplace environment where men can take childcare leave without hesitation. By establishing a social standard in the Kyushu and Yamaguchi areas that 'it is natural for men to take childcare leave for two weeks or more,' we aim to create a local community where people can raise children with peace of mind.

Background: About the Kosodate Land Kyushu Project The Kyushu Regional Strategy Council (consisting of 5 organizations including the Kyushu Governors' Association and the Kyushu Economic Federation) operates this as a public-private wide-area collaboration project.
