● A Limited-Time Summer Spot Featuring Approximately 2,000 Wind Chimes Decorating Akame 48 Waterfalls to be Held for the First Time. Akame 48 Waterfalls will host a limited-time summer event, "Sudden Appearance: 2,000 Wind Chimes Will Be Lined Up," from July 11, 2026 (Sat) to September 23, 2026 (Wed). During this period, approximately 2,000 wind chimes will be installed along the walking trail from the entrance of Akame 48 Waterfalls to Fudo Falls (5-minute walk).

● Akame 48 Waterfalls: A Premier Refreshment Spot Representing Mie Prefecture.

Akame 48 Waterfalls welcomes about 50,000 visitors during the summer months from July to September. This is because the area offers many cool attractions such as valleys and waterfalls, even in the summer, leading to many comments about how "it's actually cool," making it a popular destination for escaping the heat. However, with record-breaking heat continuing in recent years, Akame 48 Waterfalls sought to create an even cooler experience, leading to this wind chime installation initiative. We believe that by adding further visual coolness to Akame 48 Waterfalls, which already has a strong image of being cool, we can double the refreshing experience for visitors.

● Who Can Enjoy This Event? The walking trail is equipped with handrails on the stairs, and wheelchairs are available for free rental (allowing access to Fudo Falls). The area is maintained for comfortable strolls, attracting a wide range of visitors from young children to the elderly. Since the wind chimes are installed from the entrance to Fudo Falls, even elderly individuals who may not be confident in their footing can enjoy the experience. The scenery created by the sound of wind chimes echoing through the valley and the majestic waterfalls is a perfect photo spot unique to summer. It's ideal for a solitary stroll or for creating memories with family and friends.

This summer, Akame 48 Waterfalls aims to showcase the charm of the valley's natural beauty and allow many people to experience the richness of nature and the appeal of the region.
