Background and Objectives of Establishment

Due to the ongoing aging of the population in Japan, the number of elderly individuals without relatives is increasing year by year. It is estimated that by 2050, the number of elderly people without children will exceed 10 million, and among them, those without relatives will exceed 4 million. In this situation, an increasing number of elderly individuals are unable to secure the "personal guarantor" required for hospitalization or admission to care facilities, and thus cannot receive necessary services.

While providing personal guarantee services, we realized that addressing the isolation and lonely death issues of single individuals would be more effectively contributed to by collaborating with businesses that support single individuals, rather than Akari Hosho working alone.

Therefore, Akari Hosho established "Shu-Support" as a platform for businesses supporting single individuals to connect, learn from each other, and collaborate. Through this business community, we aim to share practical knowledge and build a support system.
