Celebrating its 40th Anniversary, Akashi Real Estate Breaks Ground on New Headquarters in Himeji City to Foster Next-Generation Urban Development

Akashi Real Estate Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: 1-1-23 Tsujii, Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture, Representative: Yasuo Akashi) will construct a new head office building as part of its efforts to expand its business, adapt to diversifying work styles, and create an urban development hub open to the community, thereby fostering an environment for nurturing the next generation. As the first step, we held a ground-breaking ceremony at the construction site on June 11, 2026, and are pleased to announce the commencement of construction.

The design will be undertaken by Matsuya Artworks Co., Ltd., a Class-1 architectural firm (Headquarters: 298-2 Funaocho, Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture, Nisshin Building 2F, Representative: Tetsuya Matsumoto, hereinafter referred to as Matsuya Artworks), which has handled numerous spatial designs both domestically and internationally, not limited to Himeji City. The construction will be carried out by our group company, Akashi Kensetsu Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: 1-1-23 Tsujii, Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture, Representative: Tatsuo Akashi, hereinafter referred to as Akashi Kensetsu). The completion of the new head office is scheduled for April 2027.

A New Hub to Lead "Himeji's Urban Development" on its 40th Anniversary

Since our establishment in 1986, we have been closely involved with Himeji City, growing alongside the local community. As we approach our significant 40th anniversary, we believe that providing real estate services that meet the needs of the times and creating an environment where each employee can perform at their best are crucial challenges. This led us to the decision to construct a new head office building. For the design of the new head office, we commissioned Matsuya Artworks, which, while based in our local community of Himeji, has produced numerous sophisticated spatial designs both in Japan and abroad. We have adopted a design that harmonizes with Himeji's landscape while incorporating functional beauty as an advanced workspace, befitting our company's new stage. Furthermore, Akashi Kensetsu, with whom we have a long-standing relationship of trust and a proven track record, will be responsible for the construction, ensuring safe and high-quality building processes by leveraging the comprehensive capabilities of our group.
