AlbaLink Co., Ltd. (AlbaLink, headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Kenji Kawata; hereinafter 'AlbaLink') officially signed the 'Comprehensive Collaboration Agreement on Promoting Vacant House Circulation' (hereinafter 'this agreement') with Inashiki City, Ibaraki Prefecture, on Tuesday, September 1, Reiwa 8.
Background and Purpose of the Agreement
Inashiki City has developed as a region blessed with abundant water and greenery, including Lake Kasumigaura and the Tone River, while also offering convenient access to central Tokyo. However, due to advancing depopulation, aging population, and nuclear family trends, the increase of vacant houses and inadequate management have become pressing local issues. In particular, properties with low marketability, difficulties in redevelopment, or complex ownership rights remain stagnant in the market, requiring specialized solutions. Moving forward, it is essential to raise awareness among property owners and expand options to actively promote the circulation and utilization of these low-liquidity properties that are difficult to trade in the market.
In light of this situation, AlbaLink and Inashiki City have entered into this agreement with the aim of resolving vacant house issues and preserving the local living environment by leveraging AlbaLink’s specialized expertise in circulating and utilizing complex real estate, along with its nationwide network.
