Bitget Launches Tokenized US Stock and ETF Offerings Powered by Alpaca's Infrastructure

Bitget, a global cryptocurrency trading platform, has announced the launch of 'Reality,' a new service utilizing the securities tokenization infrastructure provided by AlpacaDB Inc. and its group companies ('Alpaca'). Reality is a platform providing tokenized US stocks and ETFs. Through this launch, Bitget aims to realize access to both crypto and traditional financial assets within a single ecosystem, offering a more comprehensive investment environment to global users.

Alpaca is a fintech company founded in the US by Japanese co-founders Yoshi Yokokawa and Hitoshi Harada, holding securities licenses in multiple countries including the US and Japan. It provides securities infrastructure APIs—including stocks, ETFs, options, bonds, crypto, and tokenized securities—to over 300 financial institutions across 40 countries.

Since its founding in 2018, Bitget has operated under the belief that crypto plays a vital role in expanding financial access worldwide, serving 125 million users. To address challenges such as complex market structures and fragmented financial infrastructure, Bitget is promoting the 'Universal Exchange (UEX)' initiative.
