All-in-One DJ System XDJ-AN Launches, Enabling a Step Up from Home to Professional Performance

AlphaTheta Corporation will launch the XDJ-AN, a 2-channel all-in-one DJ system compatible with various media, on July 24, 2026. This system is designed to support users who enjoy DJing at home in their transition to performing at venues.

Background of Launch

In recent years, the number of users starting DJing with affordable DJ controllers has been increasing. However, club and live venues primarily use CDJ series and all-in-one DJ systems. Therefore, for users who started DJing with DJ controllers, differences in media compatibility and operation methods have been a hurdle when challenging themselves to perform at venues.

Furthermore, as the means of discovering music shifts towards music streaming services, the need to utilize music found there directly in DJ performances is growing.

Based on these needs, AlphaTheta is releasing the XDJ-AN, a 2-channel all-in-one DJ system that enables a smooth transition from practicing at home to performing professionally at clubs.

This product supports USB memory, as well as DJing using DJ applications on mobile devices and PCs/Macs. It also features Streaming Direct Play, which enables playback of music from music streaming services; Cloud Library Sync, which allows songs and playlists prepared on PCs/Macs to be synced to the cloud; and rekordbox Cloud Direct Play, which allows direct playback of music from the cloud. This enables a smooth connection from music preparation to performance. Additionally, by adopting the basic layout of club-standard equipment like the CDJ-3000X and DJM series, operational gaps have been reduced.

Direct access to music streaming services, supporting everything from DJing to discovering the next track

It supports Streaming Direct Play, allowing direct access to music from music streaming services from the unit and immediate DJing. Songs discovered on services like Apple Music, Beatport Streaming, and Spotify (Note 1) can be instantly utilized in DJ performances. The Info Search function allows users to search for related tracks by artist name or album information of the currently playing song via touch operation, supporting smooth track discovery from an extensive catalog.

Furthermore, it supports rekordbox Cloud Direct Play. Users can directly access their rekordbox library stored in the cloud (e.g., Dropbox, Google Drive), call up their library's songs and playlists on the unit, and start DJing immediately.

Cloud-based playlist editing and track management completed on the unit

Playlist creation and editing tasks, previously performed on PCs/Macs, can now be done solely on the unit, enabling more seamless preparation and performance. Users can flexibly manage playlists by creating new playlists on the cloud, adding songs, reordering, deleting, renaming, and selecting multiple songs at once.

Additionally, Cloud Library Sync (Note 2) automatically syncs changes made to Hot Cues and playlists on the unit to the cloud, ensuring the library is always managed in its latest state.

The Playlist Bank function, linked with the cloud, allows registered playlists to be stored in the cloud. The previous state can be recalled upon powering on again, enabling immediate resumption of DJing.

First all-in-one DJ system to support mobile apps, expanding performance options

As an all-in-one DJ system, the XDJ-AN is the first (Note 3) to enable performances with DJ apps such as rekordbox for iOS and djay for iOS. Users can easily start DJing with their smartphones, and can also perform using mobile devices with pre-saved music even in venues without Wi-Fi. It also supports the DJ live streaming/recording app DJM-REC, allowing users to share their performances via social media.

Smooth step-up achieved through operational layout and media compatibility aligned with club standards

The basic operational layout is consistent with the CDJ and DJM series used in professional venues. While featuring a simple and intuitive design, it is equipped with all the necessary functions for DJing, making it easy for first-time users and allowing DDJ series users to transition smoothly to the next stage.

Furthermore, by connecting to a PC/Mac via USB cable, users can perform using DJ software such as rekordbox for Mac/Windows, Serato DJ Lite, and djay Pro. It also supports playback via USB memory, demonstrating high compatibility with club-standard equipment.

Ultra-low latency, high-quality wireless monitoring experience realized with SonicLink

The unit has a built-in communication module for AlphaTheta's proprietary ultra-low latency wireless technology, SonicLink. Wireless monitoring can begin immediately without purchasing and connecting a separate transmitter. SonicLink delivers the high sound quality, high volume playback, and low latency that DJs require wirelessly. With a latency of just 9msec, users can concentrate on their performance without feeling any sound delay. Simply pairing with compatible headphones like the HDJ-F10 provides a comfortable monitoring environment free from cables.

High-quality sound design and support for diverse audio setups

Inheriting the high-quality sound design cultivated over many years, it delivers clear and powerful sound regardless of volume or environment. In addition to XLR external output terminals for connecting to professional audio equipment and RCA output terminals for connecting to existing audio equipment, it also supports Bluetooth® audio input/output, allowing use in a variety of audio setups.
