"The Best Software by Category" is an annual award presented by "ITreview," one of Japan's largest IT product review platforms. It selects the No. 1 product with the highest evaluation across approximately 200 categories over a one-year period.

The evaluation method involves calculating the "ITreview Score" based on indicators such as satisfaction, ease of use, number of reviews, and market search volume for products that received 10 or more reviews on ITreview between April 2025 and March 2026.
