AMA Whiskey&Co. Ltd. AMA Whiskey&Co. Ltd. has already won silver awards for its craft gin 'GodSpirits', announced prior to the distillery's opening, at 'The Gin Masters 2025' (organized by The Spirits Business magazine, UK) and the 'Tokyo Whiskey & Spirits Competition 2026', Asia's largest liquor competition. The gin is highly regarded for its quality as a craft spirit that utilizes the botanicals of Oki and expresses the story of the land.

'Distillery Drift Mark' is a distillery established on the Oki Islands, known as the 'Islands of the Gods' in the Kojiki (Records of Ancient Matters). While valuing the island's climate, materials, and connections with people, the distillery will take on the challenge of producing Japanese Bourbon-style whiskey, a rarity in Japan, as well as craft gin and other spirits.

Additionally, the 'Drifter's Cafe&Bar', attached to the distillery, will also open on the same day.

'Distillery Drift Mark' aims to be not just a place to make liquor, but a hub where people from both on and off the island can gather and interact.

In addition to manufacturing equipment, the distillery will feature a Cafe&Bar, serving as a place where local residents, tourists, and those interested in the island can easily drop by.

It aims to become a new hub for Ama Town, a place where visitors can experience the craft of distilling up close, taste the products, and connect with the spirit of the makers and the culture of Oki.

At the Cafe&Bar, guests can enjoy not only the distillery's own gin 'GodSpirits' but also whiskey and gin produced at 'Distillery Water Dragon' in Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture (Whiskey&Co. Ltd., Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shohei Omori).

About the Grand Opening Event

On the day of the grand opening, the distillery will be unveiled to stakeholders and local residents who have supported AMA Whiskey&Co.

The event will include an introduction to the distillery, tastings, a classical music live performance, and a barrel-breaking ceremony.

For media representatives, the distillery will also accept requests for photography inside the distillery, interviews with the representative and distillers, and tasting sessions of the craft gin 'GodSpirits'.
