This joint venture was formed with SBSEnviro Aqua Concepts Pvt. Ltd. (Headquarters: Maharashtra, India; CEO: Srinivas D. S., hereinafter referred to as "SBS"), with whom Amcon has collaborated as a sales partner in the Indian market for many years.

Background and Purpose of Joint Venture Establishment

In India, with economic growth and accelerating urbanization, the demand for wastewater treatment and sludge treatment is rapidly expanding. Furthermore, against the backdrop of strengthening environmental regulations and accelerated development of water and sewage infrastructure, the demand for high-performance and reliable sludge treatment technology is higher than ever before.

Until now, our company has sold sludge dewatering machines through SBS, but there were challenges in price competitiveness due to a supply system centered on imported products. Therefore, by integrating our technological capabilities with SBS's production and sales network, we aim to:

・ Establish a production and assembly system within India

・ Significantly improve cost competitiveness

・ Ensure rapid supply to the expanding Indian market

By achieving these goals, we will strengthen our market presence.

Business Development and Mid- to Long-Term Vision

The new company will initially begin local assembly and production of our flagship product, sludge dewatering machines, by procuring all major components from Indian suppliers and performing final assembly at the joint venture's local factory. In the future, we plan to gradually internalize the production of key components and expand our product lineup to include water treatment equipment other than sludge dewatering machines, such as dissolved air flotation units and sludge dryers.

Furthermore, this joint venture is positioned as an important base in the South Asian region to promote business development across sales, manufacturing, and R&D. In the future, it is also expected to serve as an export hub to neighboring countries, becoming a core base in our global strategy.
