In recent years, video-based expressions such as 'sing-along' videos and music videos (MV) have become increasingly common through social media and video streaming platforms, raising public interest in video production.

This event welcomes So Kaneko, a CG director with extensive experience in music videos, live concert visuals, commercials, and corporate videos, as an instructor. Participants will experience creating lyric videos using 'DaVinci Resolve,' professional-grade video editing software used by industry professionals.

Designed for beginners who have never used editing software or think video production might be too difficult, the session will provide step-by-step instruction on the fundamentals of video editing. Attendees will learn how to combine text and visual effects to express the atmosphere of a song through video, experiencing the joy of lyric video creation.

This event is ideal not only for those interested in video editing, CG production, or careers as visual creators, but also for high school students aspiring to enter the creative industry, offering them a chance to discover the appeal of video production.

Guest: So Kaneko (CG Director)

Kaneko majored in visual design at university and primarily handles the graphic aspects of music videos, live concerts, commercials, and corporate videos. He creates innovative design expressions by combining motion graphics and 3DCG to fuse music and visuals.

About Amusement Media Academy (AMG)

Founded in 1994 by industry professionals, our academy aims to train students to become job-ready talent capable of excelling in the entertainment industry within just two years. In 2024, we celebrate our 30th anniversary since opening.

AMG's greatest strength lies in its founding educational philosophy: 'The production site is the best educational site.' To realize 'industry-academia collaboration and on-site practical education,' students gain real industry experience by working in AMG Group divisions that produce commercially distributed content.

By participating as professionals in actual production environments—such as domestic film production, foreign film dubbing studios, game development, and publishing novels and manga—students acquire genuine skills that lead directly to employment and professional debuts.
