Utsunomiya City Space Industry Entry Promotion Seminar: Participant Recruitment Now Open

amulapo Inc. (amulapo, Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Katsuaki Tanaka) has begun recruiting participants for the "Utsunomiya City Space Industry Entry Promotion Seminar" as the operational secretariat, commissioned by Utsunomiya City.

Seminar Purpose

Utsunomiya City, based on its regional characteristics such as the concentration of aerospace manufacturers, the establishment of startups, and the presence of universities developing small satellites, has positioned "aerospace-related industries" as key promotion industries in its "Utsunomiya Industrial Promotion Vision" and is promoting their industrial concentration.

Amidst this, the "Joint Conference on Space Science and Technology," one of Japan's largest space-related academic conferences, is scheduled to be held in this city in November 2026. Many space equipment development companies, including satellite manufacturers, are expected to attend, presenting an excellent opportunity to contribute to business matching for local companies eager to enter the space industry.

This seminar aims to promote the entry of existing local companies into the growing space business sector by providing knowledge for entering the space industry. We will invite lecturers from companies already involved in the space field to share insights on how to get started, specific initiatives, the process of commercialization, and challenges encountered in their actual endeavors.

Application Requirements

Businesses located in Utsunomiya City that are already engaged in the space business.

Businesses located in Utsunomiya City that are considering entering the space business.

Businesses currently located outside the city but planning or considering establishing their headquarters or business sites in Utsunomiya City in the future, and who have the intention to engage in the space business based in this city.

*In case of a large number of applications, participants will be selected based on the purpose and objectives of this program, prioritizing businesses within the city, and then businesses planning or considering entry into or expansion of their space business within the city. Please note that we may not be able to meet your request due to the number of participants.
