Mirai Edutainment Foundation, Established by Amuse, Supports Young People's Global Challenges! Call for Participants in 'One Young World Summit 2026'!

The Mirai Edutainment Foundation (hereinafter 'the Foundation'), a general foundation established in 2023 by Amuse Co., Ltd. under the slogan 'Our differences are interesting,' aims to create a society that respects differences through 'Edutainment'—a fusion of education and entertainment. The Foundation is now accepting applications for the 'One Young World Summit 2026,' a world-class international forum held from November 3 (Mon) to 6 (Thu), 2026, in Cape Town, South Africa. This summit, often referred to as the 'Young Davos,' is designed to nurture next-generation leaders and foster global exchange. The Foundation will fully cover participation fees, travel, accommodation, meals, and other expenses.

The Mirai Edutainment Foundation seeks to expand the potential of young people who look toward the world and act for the future, contributing to the creation of 'next-generation global leaders' and positive global change.

The Foundation aims to create a society where people say, 'Our differences are interesting,' and respect one another's uniqueness. Through educational and cultural initiatives, it cultivates the next generation of global leaders who transform differences into new value. In July 2024, the Foundation hosted the 'U18 EDUTAINMENT CAMP'—a four-day program at Amuse Village (now: A VILLAGE)—inviting passionate individuals under 18 who are eager to act for the future. Guests included Takashima Ryosuke, the youngest-ever mayor of Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, who took office at age 26, along with other distinguished figures from various fields. The camp brought together 68 young people from across Japan, supporting them in taking their first steps toward becoming future leaders.

Last year, the Foundation conducted a public recruitment for participants in the 'One Young World Summit' held in Munich, Germany—a forum often called the 'Young Davos'—and dispatched five university students. These participants, having experienced the 'realities of the world' firsthand, are now actively channeling their surprise and inspiration into meaningful actions.

Amuse, the founder of the Mirai Edutainment Foundation, has been continuously sending artists and employees to the One Young World Summit since the 2015 Bangkok conference. To date, a total of 54 individuals have participated as the 'Amuse Delegation.'

The Mirai Edutainment Foundation aims to contribute further to positive global change by fully supporting young people who aspire to become 'next-generation global leaders'—those who connect with the world and take action.

What is the 'One Young World Summit'?

Declared at the 2009 World Economic Forum and first held in London in February 2010, the One Young World Summit is a global-scale summit held annually in different countries. It aims to nurture next-generation leaders and promote international exchange. Over 2,000 participants aged 18 to 32 from more than 190 countries gather to discuss, deliver speeches, and participate in workshops to solve the world's pressing challenges. By sharing global perspectives and building worldwide networks, the summit aims to develop authentic leaders.
