Knowledge to be gained and technical challenges addressed: - Understand the basic concepts of Machine Learning Interatomic Potentials (MLIP) and their differences from conventional interatomic potentials. - Grasp the basic principles of MLIP and model features through the evolution of structural descriptors and the concepts of invariance and equivariance. - Understand the end-to-end MLIP development process, from training data creation to model construction and performance evaluation. - Acquire practical perspectives for applying MLIP to individual research and development (accuracy evaluation, interpretability, model selection).
