AndTech Zoom Seminar on Lignin Basics, Separation & Applications to Carbon Fiber and Electrodes (Jul 28)

The instructor is Prof. Yasumitsu Uraki of the Graduate School of Agriculture, Hokkaido University. The seminar covers the distinction between in-wall lignin and isolated lignin, structural and physicochemical differences among industrial lignins (kraft, lignosulfonate, organosolv, acetate, PEG lignin), and application pathways to carbon fiber, activated carbon fiber, electrode materials, and functional films.
