APA Hotel Co., Ltd., which operates one of Japan's largest hotel chains, held an opening ceremony today, Thursday, June 18, for APA Hotel <Saitama Shintoshin Eki-Nishi> (389 rooms), its seventh hotel in Saitama Prefecture. Prior to the opening, a trial stay event was held on Thursday, June 11, inviting 250 groups (up to 500 guests) for free. The event attracted 19,180 applications, resulting in a high competition rate of approximately 76.7 to 1.

At the press conference, APA Group President & CEO Kazushi Motoya stated, "I am very pleased to open a new hotel with the latest specifications in Saitama as the third in our series of consecutive openings in the prefecture. This hotel features innovations for a more comfortable stay, such as double-paned sliding windows in rooms facing the elevated railway and improved sofas in deluxe twin rooms. I hope this hotel will become a hub for co-existence and co-prosperity with the local community and be loved by many guests."

The hotel is conveniently located a 5-minute walk from Saitama-Shintoshin Station (JR Utsunomiya, Takasaki, Keihin-Tohoku lines) and Kita-Yono Station (JR Saikyo line). As a key transportation hub connecting Tokyo and the northern Kanto region, it is expected to capture a wide range of accommodation demand from business to domestic leisure, as well as from events at the nearby GMO Arena Saitama (formerly Saitama Super Arena). The hotel features a complimentary grand bath, "Genyo no Yu," for guests on the second floor.

The guest rooms feature the latest "new urban hotel" specifications, offering various room types such as standard rooms, connecting rooms for up to four guests, and "cozy rooms" with sofas. An amenity bar and water server are also available.

To cater to the growing demand from inbound tourists, the hotel features the 'APA Digital Information (ADI)' system which displays hotel information on TV screens in five languages, universal power outlets, and 565 types of pictograms for signage. Free next-generation Wi-Fi 6 is also available.

Key innovations include sound-insulating and heat-insulating double-paned sliding windows in rooms near the elevated railway, and improved sofas in deluxe twin rooms.

Furthermore, the hotel offers a contactless and stress-free digital service through its "Triple One System," which consists of "1-Step Reservation," "1-Second Check-in," and "1-Second Checkout" using the hotel's app.

With this opening, APA Hotel now operates 7 hotels with 1,271 rooms in Saitama Prefecture. The company plans to continue its dominant strategy to strengthen and expand the APA Hotel network.
