Ai Plan Seeks Vocal Soloists to Perform with Sapporo Symphony Orchestra, Connecting Hokkaido's Music Culture to the Future

Ai Plan Inc. is recruiting vocal soloists for the "2027 Ai Plan Concert of Connection," aiming to foster Hokkaido's music culture and support musicians' activities. This initiative offers an opportunity to perform with the Sapporo Symphony Orchestra, supporting freelance musicians active in the region and bringing classical music experiences to the community.

Ai Plan Inc. will begin accepting applications for vocal soloists to perform in the "2027 Ai Plan Concert of Connection," scheduled for September 26, 2027. This concert is a cultural support initiative aimed at encouraging musicians active in Hokkaido and delivering rich classical music opportunities to the region.

As a corporate patron of the Sapporo Symphony Orchestra, Ai Plan supports the promotion and development of classical music in Hokkaido, and through this concert, we have created a venue to connect musicians and the community through music. Even for those who have studied music over many years and gained performance experience, continuing to work as a professional is not easy. Especially for freelance musicians, it requires significant effort and a supportive environment to continue holding independent concerts such as recitals.

Ai Plan, as a regional company, wishes to support these musicians' endeavors and contribute to the further development of Hokkaido's music culture by providing a valuable stage to perform with the Sapporo Symphony Orchestra. In 2027, we are seeking soloists active in the field of vocal music.

Applicants must be vocalists aged 25 or older residing in Hokkaido, with a proven track record of performances such as holding recitals. Applications are accepted for soprano, mezzo-soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, and bass. The deadline for submitting application documents is October 31, 2026, and the deadline for submitting a DVD or USB containing the performance is January 31, 2027. All applicants will be notified of the selection results by March 31, 2027.

Ai Plan will continue to engage in community contribution through culture and arts, in addition to business activities that support life's milestones, as a company rooted in the region.

Recruitment Guidelines

"2027 Ai Plan Concert of Connection" Vocal Soloist Recruitment

Eligibility:

Vocalists aged 25 or older residing in Hokkaido, born before January 31, 2002. Eligible voice types are soprano, mezzo-soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, and bass. Applicants must have a performance record, such as holding recitals, and be willing to perform with the Sapporo Symphony Orchestra at the "Concert of Connection" on September 26, 2027. *Current members of professional symphony orchestras are excluded.

Application Method:

1. Select a piece typically sung with orchestral accompaniment, such as an opera aria or concert aria, and clearly state it on your application form. The number of songs is flexible, with a total duration of approximately 15 minutes. Create a profile including your biography and performance history, and submit it by mail or online. The format is flexible, but your birth year and contact information are mandatory.

2. Submit a DVD or USB containing a recording of your selected piece(s) by mail. *With piano accompaniment.
