APPLE TREE Co., Ltd. (Location: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture / Representative Director and President: Sumiaki Park), in collaboration with Geomagic, will hold a seminar on Friday, June 5, 2026, where participants can experience a series of processes from 3D scanning to design, 3D printing, and inspection.

The theme of this seminar is "Even without drawings, this much can be done to match the actual shape. Practical Seminar on 3D Scanning × Design Matched to Actual Shape × 3D Printing × 3D Inspection." It is an event that practically introduces a new approach to manufacturing starting from existing objects through hands-on experience with actual equipment.

In recent years, in manufacturing sites, cases of "no drawings existing" and "only actual objects available" have been increasing for tasks such as reproducing existing parts, modifying equipment, and developing prototypes.

To address these challenges, the digitalization of actual objects using 3D scanners and the construction of design, manufacturing, and inspection processes based on this digitalization are attracting attention.

On the other hand, many cases show that the consideration for introduction does not progress due to reasons such as "not knowing how to utilize it in our own business" or "not having an operational image after introduction."

To solve these issues, this seminar will introduce the latest models, focusing on handheld 3D scanners, and conduct demonstrations using actual equipment. Furthermore, a series of workflows will be introduced in a practical manner, including design methods based on acquired 3D data, molding by 3D printing, and inspection processes utilizing Geomagic software.

The aim is for all participants to take home a concrete image of the business efficiency improvement and quality enhancement that can be achieved through the introduction of 3D scanning technology.

Target Audience - Persons in charge of design, development, quality control, and manufacturing departments in the manufacturing industry - Those considering the introduction of 3D scanners - Those who have challenges in design and manufacturing from existing objects without drawings

Main Contents - Product introduction of high-precision 3D scanners - Hands-on demonstrations with actual equipment - Explanation of design methods utilizing 3D scanned data - Introduction of the molding process by 3D printing - Demo of 3D inspection using Geomagic - Individual consultation
