APPLE TREE Enters Distribution Agreement with Formlabs to Strengthen Small-Batch Production and Service Bureau Capabilities

APPLE TREE Inc. (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan; President and CEO: Park Soo-myung) has officially signed a distribution agreement with U.S.-based 3D printer manufacturer Formlabs Inc. to begin sales and technical support for Formlabs products in Japan.

In recent years, the applications of 3D printing in the manufacturing industry have rapidly expanded beyond prototyping to include small-batch production and mass production support through service bureaus. Against the backdrop of rising demand for on-demand production, there is an increasing need for solutions that can deliver high quality and stable printing.

Formlabs is a leading company in professional 3D printing solutions, providing a comprehensive ecosystem centered on SLA (stereolithography) and SLS (selective laser sintering) 3D printers, along with post-processing units, software, and a variety of materials.

Through this collaboration, APPLE TREE Inc. will provide end-to-end support, from product implementation to operational technical assistance, to further promote 3D printing adoption in Japanese manufacturing, research, and educational institutions, while strengthening its focus on small-batch production and service bureau applications.

At the launch, APPLE TREE will begin offering Formlabs' flagship products, including the "Fuse 1+ 30W" (SLS), the next-generation high-speed "Form 4" (SLA), and the large-format "Form 4L" (SLA).
