Kansai Region Premiere: Arc’teryx Hosts Women-Only Climbing Night in Osaka Namba

Founded in 1989 in Vancouver, British Columbia, the outdoor brand 'Arc'teryx' will hold its first women-only climbing event in the Kansai region, the 'ARC’TERYX WOMEN’S CLIMBING NIGHT,' on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at D Bouldering plus lead namba (Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture).

Arc'teryx is committed to building communities where people connect through climbing, which is at the brand's roots. At the 'Arc'teryx Osaka Shinsaibashi Brand Store,' the brand has been holding the monthly event 'Climbing Challenge' at the climbing gym 'D Bouldering plus lead namba' since last year, fostering a community that brings together climbing beginners and experienced climbers alike.

However, some who were interested in climbing voiced concerns such as, 'It's hard to start alone' or 'I want an opportunity for women-only participation.' Responding to these voices, the brand will hold the women-only event 'WOMEN’S CLIMBING NIGHT'—which has previously been held in the Kanto area and supported by many women climbers and beginners—in the Kansai region for the first time.

A women-only event for enjoying new challenges and community encounters through climbing. Participants can experience the joy of climbing through beginner-friendly climbing clinics, trials of Arc'teryx climbing harnesses, and community content that naturally connects participants.

- Date: Saturday, June 27, 18:00 - 22:00 (Last entry 21:30) - Capacity: Unlimited - Venue: D Bouldering plus lead namba (Swing Yoshimoto Bldg. 3F/4F, 12-35 Namba Sennichimae, Chuo-ku, Osaka City) - Participation Fee: Free - Participants: Women only / Middle school students and above - Condition: Registration with Arc'teryx's official LINE account is required. (The venue is reserved for women only on the day. Parents must accompany participants high school age and under.)

Participation Contents - ① FREE CLIMB: Free facility usage after registering with the Arc'teryx official LINE account. - ② Harness Experience: Beginner-friendly clinics led by guest instructors (Bouldering: 18:30 - 19:30, Top rope: 20:00 - 21:00; advance reservation required). - ③ Raffle: Participate after challenging climbing tasks while wearing an Arc'teryx harness and showing a photo of yourself climbing at the booth.
