Arflex Japan (Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo; President: Taku Hoshina) will host the Naomi Shigeta exhibition 'intangible voice' at Arflex Nagoya from May 21 (Thu) to June 9 (Tue).

As part of the 'LIFE with ART project', which proposes a comfortable relationship between art and interior design, Arflex Nagoya is pleased to hold an exhibition for contemporary artist Naomi Shigeta. The deep and expansive, unique depth found in Shigeta’s abstract paintings, along with their serene presence, offers a peaceful time to step back from the daily bustle and focus on one's inner self.

This exhibition will bring together a diverse collection of works from the past to the latest pieces, tracing the artist's journey. Experience a moment filled with rich tranquility woven together with the interior space of Arflex.

Message from the artist: 'What am I looking at and feeling in my daily life right now? As if pulling together emotions, sensations, and latent consciousness that cannot be put into words, I slowly let the movements of my mind and body ride on the lines. The quietly accumulating improvisational brushstrokes become a dialogue of exploration, capturing the inner voice just before it turns into words.
