What is Art Aquarium?
An immersive entertainment art that expresses aquarium artworks with goldfish swimming in them through light, scent, and sound.
In "Art Aquarium," where a unique world of Japanese tradition and cutting-edge art merges, the culture of goldfish viewing, which has continued since the Edo period, is expressed as an artwork in the present day.
A fantastical space is created by the sculptural beauty of the aquarium artworks, the spatial design, and the goldfish of various beauties.
Since its birth in Tokyo in 2007, it has been held as a limited-time event throughout Japan, and its summer events in Tokyo have become a familiar tradition.
In August 2020, the first permanent museum opened in Nihonbashi, Tokyo (Chuo-ku, Tokyo).
