Artfreak Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Takuya Komada), a company involved in the planning and production of exhibitions and events, has announced that two of its works have received the highest honor, the "GOLD AWARD," at the 39th Exhibit Design Awards, a globally prestigious international design competition hosted by the leading U.S. exhibition trade publication, EXHIBITOR Magazine.

This year, only four entries from around the world were selected for the Gold Award. Artfreak Inc. exclusively won two of these awards (50%), earning an overwhelming evaluation that is rare in the history of the competition. For an independent Japanese design company to claim half of the Gold Awards, amidst large-scale projects by global corporations, is a remarkable achievement that proves our creativity stands at the top of the world.

GOLD AWARD Winner: 'Quiet Riot'

GOLD AWARD Winner: 'Unfinished Business'

Award-Winning Works and Juror Evaluations

1. GOLD AWARD Winner: 'Quiet Riot' (Artfreak Inc. company booth)

Designer in charge: Honoka Kawahara

Concept: In an exhibition hall filled with flashy displays, this space embraces the aesthetic of "subtraction" by deliberately stripping away elements.

Juror's Comment:

"In a sea of loud graphics, this booth is a space defined by 'restraint, balance, and a quiet magnetism.' It truly stands out like a 'Zen garden' in the midst of chaos."

2. GOLD AWARD Winner: 'Unfinished Business' (Artfreak Inc. company booth)

Designer in charge: Keiji Murakami

Concept: As a company booth, it intentionally presents an 'under construction' appearance, stimulating the viewer's imagination.

Juror's Comment:

"It is rare to see a booth that so perfectly expresses 'intentional incompletion.' The designer's playfulness and the storytelling that sparks the viewer's imagination point to new possibilities in exhibition design."

The jury consists of top creatives and educators who have worked on global projects for companies such as Hilton, Marriott, and Toyota.
