The Asahi Student Newspaper (Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Masanobu Yasuda), in collaboration with the educational portal site 'KidsNet' (operated by Asahi Gakken Synquest) and 'AERA with Kids' (published by Asahi Shimbun Publications), will host 'Asobi Manabi Kagaku Lab,' an experiential event designed to support summer science projects. The event will take place on July 19 (Sunday) at the Tokyo University of Science, Katsushika Campus (Katsushika-ku, Tokyo).
'Asobi Manabi Kagaku Lab' features a wide array of programs for parents and children to enjoy, including various themed booths for experiments and crafts, stage shows, workshops, and experiential exhibits that provide hints for science projects. This marks the first joint event organized by these three companies, which have previously supported children's future through their respective newspaper, magazine, and web media channels. This event, featuring diverse programs that cross corporate boundaries, is one of the largest educational events in Japan.
A total of 15 companies and organizations are scheduled to exhibit at the venue, including Glico, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Seiko Group, Seven Bank, the Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Expanded Polystyrene Association, and Morinaga & Co.
