ASK Announces New PhantomLink-Compatible GPUs and Motherboards Eliminating Auxiliary Power Cables

ASK Corporation has announced a total of four new products from Sapphire Technology, featuring the 'PhantomLink' power delivery system that eliminates the need for auxiliary power cables. The lineup includes the 'NITRO+ Radeon RX 9070 XT GAMING OC 16GB PhantomLink' and its 'Polar' (white) variant, as well as the 'NITRO+ X870EA PhantomLink' and 'Polar' (white) motherboards.

SAPPHIRE's proprietary 'PhantomLink' is an innovative power supply system designed to simplify and enhance the custom PC building experience. By using compatible motherboards, users can omit auxiliary power cables for the graphics card, achieving an unprecedented clean aesthetic while streamlining the assembly process. Furthermore, it offers compatibility with the GC-HPWR adapter found in ASUS's BTF series, allowing users to combine it with a wide range of products.

The two graphics cards are overclocked models in the 'NITRO+' series. Equipped with AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics based on the AMD RDNA 4 architecture, they deliver high frame-rate 4K or 1440p gaming. The two motherboards are ATX boards based on the AMD X870E chipset, featuring standard PhantomLink connectors, support for Wi-Fi 7, and tool-less M.2 heatsinks.
