Idol Group 'fav me' Delivers an Impressive 14-Song Non-Stop Performance at 1st Anniversary Live, Releases New Song 'Trust me'

On Monday, May 18, 'fav me' held their 1st-anniversary concert, '-fav me 1st Anniversary Live- STILL A NEW WORLD', at Toyosu PIT in Tokyo. Furthermore, the new song 'Trust me', performed during the concert, was released digitally today.

fav me is a 7-member idol group consisting of Azusa Onodera, Karen Abe, Runa Kawagishi, Marin Seno, Ranna Maruyama, Maika Miokawa, and Komari Nakamoto. They debuted as the first group of 'PEAK SPOT', an idol project launched by Asobisystem in February 2025. Their first one-man live, 'Stage of the Future', held at Kanadevia Hall (formerly TOKYO DOME CITY HALL) in Tokyo last December, was completely sold out. They have shown remarkable growth, with their 1st single CD 'Suki nanka ja... Nyai!' debuting at No. 1 on the Oricon Weekly Single Ranking, and receiving nominations in two categories—Best New Artist and Best Girls Idol Culture Artist—at MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2026.

The venue for fav me's monumental 1st-anniversary live was Toyosu PIT, the largest capacity they have played so far. A multitude of fans rushed to the venue to celebrate with them. Amidst the heat of the venue before the show even started, the members appeared in new costumes illuminated by seven-colored lights. The concert kicked off with 'New World', a song expressing their resolve to take a new step forward, opening the curtain on the newly evolved fav me as they head into their second year.

From the second song onward, they consecutively performed pop songs bursting with fav me's signature style, 'Chu Shiyou' and 'Gyutte Shite!', instantly raising the voltage of the audience. Miokawa called out, 'Let's all enjoy the best and strongest live together today!', leading into 'Ao no Love Letter' and 'Cake wo Tabereba Iin Janai!?'. Fans responded with all their might to Miokawa's call with loud cheers and responses.

After making the best starting dash, they introduced themselves at a song-like tempo backed by rhythmic BGM. Carrying over the excitement, they performed a special medley prepared specifically for this live, consisting of 'Ano Sora wa Zutto Kimi no Iro', 'Kimi ga Suki da', and 'Wonderland!'. Without catching a breath, they consecutively performed 'Cinderelove', whose choreography went viral on TikTok, the title track of their 1st single 'Suki nanka ja... Nyai!', and 'Eye to eye!', popular for its formation-marching-like dance. Notably, smartphone video recording was permitted for these three songs, encouraging people to experience the excitement of the live via fans' SNS accounts.

Riding this momentum, they performed their new song 'Watashiiro' as a surprise. fav me, a gathering of members with rich individualities, has rushed through this past year at breakneck speed. Entering their second year and having gained even more individuality, the song made everyone anticipate what kind of 'colors' the seven members will show in the future. Concluding the middle block of the live, they sang 'Ano Toki, Kimi ga Suki Datta' both delicately and powerfully, captivating the audience's hearts.

The highly energetic live quickly moved into its second half. The venue's heat reached its climax with the fan-anticipated anthem 'Straight Stride'. Keeping the flow going, they performed 'Trust me'. This song portrays their determination to move forward—accepting their imperfect selves, and believing in the days accumulated with their comrades and 'you', despite harboring anxieties, conflicts, and misunderstandings. Set to a rock sound that seemed to express their passionate feelings, they delivered a message of resolve to their fans. For the finale, they sang 'Astra' with the strongest emotion of the day, splendidly completing their 14-song non-stop performance.

After the live ended, a major announcement was made by fav me. First, it was decided that their 2nd single CD will be released on Wednesday, September 2. Furthermore, the 'fav me Tomeihan-Satsu-Fuku Autumn Tour 2026', visiting Hokkaido, Fukuoka, Aichi, Osaka, and Tokyo, was announced.
