▼ Overview
Today, various methodologies for exploring and realizing new business themes are widely shared and published. However, many professionals in large enterprises may find themselves in the following situations despite following these methods:
Have you ever led or participated in new ventures generating several hundred million to one billion yen, only to be told internally that such scale lacks strategic value—whether your core business is slowing down or declining, or whether it is growing steadily at a scale of several thousand billion to several trillion yen?
Given that your company’s leadership may lack firsthand experience in building billion-yen-scale businesses in new domains—despite having deep customer insights that led to incremental innovation—have you been pressured to immediately demonstrate short-term ROI for new ventures?
Despite advancing business development using the latest methodologies such as Agile development, Lean Startup, and Open Innovation (including CVC collaboration), do you feel uncertain about creating new ventures exceeding several hundred million yen in scale?
Are you concerned that decision-making is slow, talent commitment to solving key challenges is weak, and your initiatives resemble diluted versions of startups—causing your organization to lose the competitive advantages and identity unique to large enterprises?
This webinar is designed for leaders and managers in large enterprises facing these challenges. We will analyze why such situations occur by discussing the characteristics of corporate decision-making, organizational dynamics in large entities, enterprise-specific ROI metrics, and the aspects of startup-driven innovation methods that are applicable—and those that are not. We will introduce practical solutions and perspectives to avoid these pitfalls and overcome current limitations.
