Koichi Honjo Spera Pharma Associate Director, Development & Analytical Research Laboratories, Osaka Research Center
After completing his Master's degree at Kyoto University Graduate School of Energy Science in 2003, Koichi Honjo joined Shimadzu Corporation, where he worked on contract services for gene and proteome analysis. In 2006, he moved to Chlorella Light Co., Ltd., where he was in charge of developing lactic acid bacteria beverages. In 2009, he joined Falco Biosystems Ltd., where he was involved in food and environmental microbial testing, as well as microbiological work related to pharmaceutical raw materials and regenerative medicine products. Since 2020, he has been with Spera Pharma, where he serves as a specialist in the microbiology field, providing technical support and handling pharmaceutical-related microbiological work.
