ASTRO GATE Inc. (representative: Daisuke Ode) announced a partnership with Cosmotec Co., Ltd. (representative: Tetsuya Furuya) to support operations at JAXA's newly established Co-Creation Propulsion Development Center. Located at the JAXA Kakuda Space Center West District in Miyagi Prefecture, this facility serves as a hub for public-private collaboration to research, develop, and test liquid rocket engine systems and components. Under the partnership, ASTRO GATE will work with Cosmotec (which was awarded the contract by JAXA) to provide technical consultation, coordination, and promotional support for users of the test facility. The center supports engine system, combustor, turbopump, component, and cryogenic/high-pressure element testing. ASTRO GATE will leverage its expertise in spaceport planning and ground launch equipment design to accelerate space transport development, promote collaboration, and strengthen Japan's international competitiveness, aligned with the government's goal to achieve 30 domestic rocket launches annually by the early 2030s.
