Six Players from A.S.WAKABA Selected for Japan's Sepaktakraw National Team

The sepaktakraw team 'A.S.WAKABA,' based in the Wakabayashi district of Setagaya, Tokyo, announced that six of its members have been selected as provisional representatives for the Japanese national team for the 20th Asian Games, to be held in Aichi and Nagoya in 2026. This event marks the largest sports festival in Asia to be held in Japan in 32 years. Hirokazu Kobayashi, the team's manager and a selected player, commented, 'I want to make the most of the advantage of playing on home soil and perform at my best.' Following formal certification by the JOC, they will compete as part of TEAM JAPAN.
